Immediate rectification of this problem was required. The spot temperature of the out going red phase from this breaker measured 140.0 Degrees Celsius, which caused visible darkening of the cable. Poor termination and over loading was diagnosed.

Recommendations

A loose terminal on the yellow phase of this contactor caused clear differences in temperature between the incoming phases to this Power Correction Factor. Further more load differences were observed between this and the adjacent device. Immediate rectification of this problem was required.
